I was really bored last friday
so i decided to go to Upper Pierce Reservoir.
I brought along the street directory, compass,
water bottle, kind of stuff that you would bring
along for hikes.
I didnt bring everything.
I made a search in online street directory
and i set off at aroud 3pm.
I like this kind of going-out-and-explore
kind of activity.
The area around there is quite nice.
I walked through the jungle trails and i was
worried about creatures like snakes because
i was alone then.
I saw the sign board that shows the different kind
snakes.. one is the tree snake, harmless to humans
because the venom is too weak.
The other one that caught my eyes is the Python.
I remembered the incident of a dog being strangled
to death by a python and i know that i may be in
danger.
I thought to myself that a python can never grow
to the size of being a threat to a teenager like me.
There is a terribly lack of food here.
They can only eat.. rats, frogs, small snakes, insects..
How to grow big? Growing big = need more food = starve.
They have no poison...
If a small python bite you and it attempt to wrap
around you, find its neck and hold it with your 2 hands.
If you can competely surround its neck, you can apply
pressure and the snake will release it's grip.
HOWEVER...
If the python is one adult size( in other countries)
... and if you don't have
enough force to strangle it before it strangle you...
I think you are dead...unless you have something sharp.
I increased my pace in case the snake that i would meet
is a King Cobra.. Yea... Singapore has King Cobra..
The place is extremely relaxing... i saw a lot of families having
picnics there.
Very queit and the breeze is great.
I saw some monkeys eating flowers and jumping around,
so close that i can touch it. So Cool...
I am going to bring some of my friends there, if
they are interested that is.
