Smile in singapore?
you must be kidding.
I wake up every morning
feeling happy because of
a brand new day for me to
use.
I have a quick breakfast and
i am off to school.
I can still managed to remain
cheerful until i reach the bus stop.
I can't smile anymore.
When i look at the crowded bus,
i will always see something that
will pissed me off.
There are people who refuse to move
in and thus blocking the people
from moving in, resulting in
a crowded bus and therefore
other people can not get in.
haha.
thats ok..rather minor.

I hardly see people smiling in my
house.
My parents are working so hard
and the their faces always look
"sian... i want to rest."
"whoa....why is the tax keeps rising.."
or
"you know how hard we are working....
blablabla"

I must thank those people who has made
an effort to organize events.

Ok...
Don't want to say those demoralising things.

Hey hey...stay cheerful alright!
friends!
no matter how bad the problem is!

hmm....
We all know that nobody is
perfect.
I think i am short-tempered.
I realised that i get angry
easily, therefore doing and
saying things that have offended
some people.
I am willing to admit this
so i think, there is still hope
for me to change.
I need help and understanding from
people.
It is going to be hard, however,
it is not impossible.
So....haha, i will go read up somemore
and will put the knowledge into practice.
Until then, sorry! if i haveoffended you
one way or another.

World issue...
Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi
paid his respects at Tokyo's Yasukuni Shrine
for war dead on Tuesday, the anniversary
of his country's World War Two surrender,
defying warnings from China and South Korea
not to go.
The situation is akin to someone paying respect
to a murderer who has killed a lot of people.
Tsk Tsk Tsk....
They killed many of our greatgrand parents
and even grandparents.
Yet, this PM continued to pay respect to the
murderers as if it is pitiful for them to die.
Thats my perspective on this issue.

Please comment on this.

Yesterday...saturday...
Nothing much because
I have been saying the same thing
for every saturday.
haha!
My team played a tough
game with one team.
Sweats rolled down into
my eyes and it was damn painful.
I carried on playing while bearing
the pain and my friends thought that
i was very angry because my face
looked like one that time.
Actually it's because of the pain in
my eyes.
I played rough with them too,
because they were pushing us.
I'm so engrossed in playing with them
that i had forgotten to stay calm.
It was a terrible mistake because
if i am too agitated, i may not
be able to pass well and aim accurately.
Thanks for Glendon and Desmond
to point my mistake out. : )

We brought 2 soccer balls to play
and unfortunately both soccer balls
had been damaged and out of
shape could not be used again.

After that i accompanied them to
Plaza LAN.
I slept there as usual because, the
place there is dark, cooling, comfortable and
i was very tired after soccer.
I watched ruijie play his game and i fell
asleep.
His hero level was 5 and by the time
i woke up, his level was 7.
Tsk tsk.. didnt know why i could not
sleep for long that day.
Maybe because of the short period
of soccer due to the faulty balls, i
was not that tired.
I used to sleep for like from my friend's
level 5 to 16.
haha!

Went home after that.
Went out with my relatives for dinner.
My cousin and i sat with 2 strangers
because that was not enough seats.
The strangers were very friendly
and chatted with me.
They asked me how old am i
and they guessed a range of
14 - 16.
When i told them i am 18 this year
they were VERY SURPRISED!
They said "Wah! how can that be?
sure or not?"
I said yes and i asked back why.
One of them told me that
his son is 19 this year and he
looked very different from me.
haha..haha.
Is it a good thing or a bad thing to
look young...
I remembered once when i went into
the arcade during school hours,
the auntie told me that those
below 16 could not enter so i had to
show her my IC to confirm im ABOVE
THAT AGE.
Another time was when i walked into
the singapore 4D ticket that place with
my mum and the security guard asked
me to go out because of the age
restriction.
I had to tell him that I WAS 18 YEARS
OLD that time and he didnt look convinced.

my cousin and i ate a lot that night.
Each of us had 1 bowl of fish porridge
and we shared 1 plate of carrot cake,
1 plate of BBQ chicken wings and
1 plate of hokkien mee.
Super tasty and super full !!
Ok...
Thats all!..
haha
GOOD LUCK
HAVE FUN!

I saw something really stupid yesterday.
I saw about 5 yuying secondary(1 or 2)boys
playing with a flag pole with a lion head
symbol ata bus stop.
1 boy placed the flag pole on the concrete
seat and stepped repeatedly on the flag
until the flag pole broke into 2.
The flag fell onto the ground.
Luckily it is not a country flag. (red and white)
I sat down around there to wait for bus
and to listen to their childish and stupid
conversation.
B = Boy,
That girl was there listening by the way.
Seems that one boy in that group likes
that girl.
I think they were friends.
The group started daring the boy to
say " I love You" to that girl.
That boy walked to her and pulled
her hair and the group started laughing.
After that they asked that boy to
touch the girl's breast as an act of bravery.
He didnt touch but he kept on getting near to her.
They started mocking at him but
he seemed to be enjoying it and smiling too.
He started making his move and that girl
seemed to be shy started to move away smiling!
That boy kept chasing her and she kept
walking away.
One big size boy suddenly stood infront of her
very close as though he was about to hug
her but he was just trying to block her way.
The bus was here and i boarded the bus
only to find stupid people in the bus.
I saw about 7 people standing behind the bus.
The problem is that there were people sitting
outside of the 2 seats.
You know there are a lot of double seats in the
bus right?
I don't understand why so many people,
around 8 of them in that bus, like to sit
away from the window.
As a result of their action, many people
are deterred from sitting down because
they have to make the effort to
squeeze past those idiots.
If a lot of people are standing, then
the bus will be so full that other people
cannot go in and therefore late for work
or school.
Why are people so selfish now?
They care only about their own convenience.
A lot of thoughts kept coming into my head.
One of them is this..
I appreciate my life more whenever i see these
  • A good looking girl smoking.
  • A really clever boy throwing rubbish on
    the floor.
  • A celebrity who breaks the traffic rules.
  • A tall and handsome boy littering.
  • A very rich man caught for criminal act.
  • and many more.

WHY?
Its because i know that nobody is perfect.
Even if people may not be that good looking,
rich or intelligent, they do not have to feel
inferior because if they are willing to
be a good citizen doing volunteering work,
keeping the place clean, having dignity and
integrity, they may be more worthy then
many many "better" people.
What for having such good looks, such high
education and such good talent if you can't
even differentiate between what is right and
what is wrong?
Littering is good?
Scolding vulgarities at friends and family is good?
Afraid of losing is good?
Being late is good?
wasting water and food is good?

Its ok to joke and laugh about it but
we must make sure that we really
know whats right and wrong in our hearts.
Everybody has conscience right?
Don't you feel uneasy when
you are littering or being late?

So i think we should all work together
for a better day ya...
The world outside is already ugly.
Please read more newspaper and know
more about the world issue.
You are terribly wrong if you think
that this is a peaceful and resourceful world.

Phew... finally finished saying some part
of the many thoughts. Felt a lot better now.

OMG. I had a really weird dream last night.
I dreamt about...

I went to a far away place.
The place i was staying was
a very old and chinese style mansion.
It's really very very big.
There was an old man inside
and he told me to stay inside the guest room
and warned me not to venture to other rooms.
I was curious about the old chinese style rooms
so i ignored the warning explored the place.
The rooms were really dusty and deserted.

As i was walking, i heard some weird noises( i forgot the details)
I walked deeper into the corridors and suddenly
the things around started to move by itself.
I was really frightened and i tried to run back but failed
because i was lost.
Luckily the old man came and led me out.
It was at night.
The streets outside the mansion was beautifully
decorated with colourful lights.
There were a lot of people walking around.
Seemed to be a festival.

Something weird.
I saw 3 people wearing Cai Sen Ye costume
walking and laughing.
I also saw a lot of cages with birds in it
and chickens running around in an
enclosed area. I decided to take some pictures.
As time went by, the crowd started to disperse.
I followed a group of people to somewhere (forgotten)
I went back to take more pictures but the place was
gone.

Saw this poster at Marina Square. That face is
Henry if i'm not wrong. What a nice piece of
Photoshoped image, it looks so perfect.

Tsk tsk tsk... poor birds. Can't even stretch out
its wings.

These hornbills are really big. Its so pathetic
to keep such giant birds in cages. They are hard to
get and i wonder if they are taken illegally.

Look at the spots.

Gar fish. Quite cool

Haha. They are so small. They are cheap and they
won't fly away when they grow up because
they treat you like their parents.

I went to Serangoon North to get some fish
stuffs and noticed this box of baby lovebirds.

Look at these baby lovebirds. They are so adorable
and beautiful.

The boat

The jetty. Its such a wonderful experience to go out to sea.

Just managed to finish my work(wallpaper) on time.
Wanted to do a more complicated one
but i was worried that i may not
have time to do, so i decided
to keep it simple..
Both my lecturer and peisi
commented that the wallpaper
is frightening...
And for some reaon, i could not
upload the picture...
I went home immediately after school
and then i went to National
Skin Centre.
Quite painful when they spray
-192 degree celsius of liquid
nitrogen on my toes to kill
the virus.
I decided to go to Junction 8
but i took the right bus but wrong
direction.
I even slept in the bus.
Reached Suntec City instead.
Walked around the Suntec City Mall
Took bus 111 in hope to get to somewhere
familiar.
Reached esplanade.
i got down and took bus 56.
A VERY VERY long journey before reaching
Bishan... I took 53 there and reached home at
8pm..
Had my dinner and went to meet my sec 5
friends..
Talked and played for hours.
So fun...so fun...so....fun....

I don't usually stay up until so late.
The reason why i burned the mid night
oil tonight is for a reason.
Serve me right for having fun
for the past few days.
Tomorrow is the dead line for my projects
and i have spent 10 hours working on
exercise 9 alone.
Ok.. to be honest. I wasted a few
hours on unnecessary stuffs.

The good things about doing projects are
  1. You can listen to music while doing and
    sing along. LOL
  2. You can work with noise around you.
  3. You learn how to manage your time well.
  4. You can experience with different gadgets and
    materials.
  5. You can do in groups and ask for help.
  6. The more you do the better you get.
  7. you can eat, watch TV, listen to radio, talking to
people and do your work at the same time.
  8. The finished work gives you a sense of
    satisfaction.
  9. You can always find reference easily.
Fun to do...( At the start ONLY)

....ok..

to be continue...

really tired..

think i will be sleeping on the sofa later.

I just love Full Metal Alchemist.
This anime taught me a lot of things.
Its educational.

Firstly, it taught me about
Chemistry...
How things are made up of
different elements.

Secondly, it made me
interested in reading books.
To the characters in
that anime, they become
stronger by reading a lot of books.
When a person becomes a State Alchemist,
he has entry to the national library
which has 100 times more books.

Thirdly, the equivalent trade...
The law which states that
In order to gain something,
we must first sacrifice something.
I thought about the technology around us.
Techology allows us to live
comfortably and improve our
survival rate.
However, there are things for
us to sacrifice too.
We become lazy and refuse to
do tough works.
We become busier, so busy that
some of us are willing
to compromise the time
spent with loved ones.
Technology also creates problems like
heart attack, high blood pressure and stroke,
because we are stripped off the chance
for us to exercise unless we
make the effort to go for a run
or go to gym.

Equivalent Trade.
When you do something bad to a person,
chances are,
the person will do something bad to you.
You lose something and
you gain wisdom.
When you lose your loved ones,
you become sad and you
that you should cherish the people
around you.

I cannot guarantee that this rule
apply to everything in this
universe.

haha.
alright.
so a friendly reminder.
Think before you say or act,
because you may or may not
make a person feel down.

Stories - The Touchstone

When the great library of Alexandria burned, the story goes, one book was saved. But it was not a valuable book; and so a poor man, who could read a little, bought it for a few coppers.

The book wasn't very interesting, but between its pages there was something very interesting indeed. It was a thin strip of vellum on which was written the secret of the "Touchstone"!

The touchstone was a small pebble that could turn any common metal into pure gold. The writing explained that it was lying among thousands and thousands of other pebbles that looked exactly like it. But the secret was this: The real stone would feel warm, while ordinary pebbles are cold.

So the man sold his few belongings, bought some simple supplies, camped on the seashore, and began testing pebbles.

He knew that if he picked up ordinary pebbles and threw them down again because they were cold, he might pick up the same pebble hundreds of times. So, when he felt one that was cold, he threw it into the sea. He spent a whole day doing this but none of them was the touchstone. Yet he went on and on this way. Pick up a pebble. Cold - throw it into the sea. Pick up another. Throw it into the sea.

The days stretched into weeks and the weeks into months. One day, however, about midafternoon, he picked up a pebble and it was warm. He threw it into the sea before he realized what he had done. He had formed such a strong habit of throwing each
pebble into the sea that when the one he wanted came along, he still threw it away

Late Late Late.
The new trend is here.
Most people are late for
every occasions and meetings
that i can think of.
Being late because other people is late
is an excuse?
So if people make mistakes
i purposely make one too?
I have a temptation to be late
for every meetings.
I tried to be punctual.
Whenever i am punctual, i need to wait
for late comers.
The time wasted ranges from at 5mins to 3hrs.
If i tell them the time that i will reach the place
i will accomplish it most of the time.
If i don't, which is in the minority,
it is due to miscalculation of time.
Do you know why people do not want to be
punctual?
To me, it is sucking.
What for going there on time
and wait for people to come late
and then start doing the things
that we intended to do.
If i come late, i don want to wait for people
the event can just start immediately when i
reach there.
SO GOOD RIGHT?
No need wait.
If i really cannot make it on time.
i will say
"Sorry guys, i will join you when i reach there
please continue without me."
And don't ask me to be late
because you think other people will be late.
I am responsible for my conduct.
Maybe all of you might think that i am bo liao.
I just want to carry myself responsibly so that
other people can trust me next time.

I blog this because i have nothing better to do.
Do not get offended because i'm not referring
to anyone.
I was just trying to say out everything
to make myself feel better.
and PLEASE.
DO NOT LITTER ON THE FLOOR
and
TRY TO REDUCE THE USAGE OF PLASTIC BAG.
Thank you derrick for bringing your bag
to carry water bottles every saturday.

ON FRIDAY.
I accidentally met
Tania and prilala on bus 72.
Met Zheng Ting and Kelvin Ong
when i alighted a the busstop.
I took bus 53 and i met Donovan there.
I swear everything i said is true.
it is just too coincidental to keep running into
my friends.

Whooo.... I am SO HAPPY for this week!
All thanks to all of my friends!
Went out to sea to watch fireworks again last tuesday.
Unfortunately, only afew of us went.
I met up with Janice, De Wei, PengSeng, Peisi
for a vegetarian lunch after school.
The vegetarian food is very nice... and healthy.
I didnt follow them to town and went home instead.
Met up with robin and accompanied him
to a dental clinic at Yishun.
I met my brother's friend Kiat meng on a bus.
When we reached Yishun, i was surprised to
meet a poly friend of mine, Nadia, there.
HAHA! I can still meet my friend at such a place.
After that, we took MRT to Marina there.
Another friend of mine was waiting there
for us to get onto the boat.
We went out to the sea to watch the Fireworks
and it was a very fun experience.
The boat was speeding making the trip even more exciting.
It was very nice to have a conversation with
robin because i find that he is a
wise man? because he knows a lot of things
which most of us don't bother to know.
We shared opinions on many issues like
scout, human behaviors and education. etc.
I met a secondary friend of mine when i was
taking bus 113 home.

This is weird. I realised that i kept running into
people who i know.
ONe spooky encounter.
I met a family that does not seem to be local at
Compass point.
I was paying much attention on the girl
because i was curious what lies in the blood
to make her so beautiful.
I am sure that she is mix-blooded.
Then, the next day when i went to
Macritchite, i met them again!!
Oh My God... How can that be..
Is Singapore really that small??
That girl looked at me with big eyes
as though she was surprised too.

Wednesday
Went for soccer in the morning.
Went to Ms Teo house in the afternoon.
It was very fun and very nice to see
a lot of my friends who i have not seen
for many months.
I saw them ganging up to drag different boy
for a false "Gang rape".
Seems like the skinny ones are the victims.
Super fun!

Last saturday was a very fun day for me.
Soccer with my friends.
Noticed that we bought a lot of bottles of water.
The boss of that shop must be
really happy to open his shop there.
haha.
While we were playing soccer in the soccer court,
i made Glendan angry.
We scolded each other.
Sorry!
I didnt know that i was being so rough(while playing).
But...Its really very hard to score.
So next time you guys should tell me my performance so i can improve.
For example, Eugene told me that
my passing to him is really bad.
Too far and he could not reach it.

We went to 805 for lunch.
We went to Hougang plaza.
Some groups of them played dota while some played billard.
I was there watching dota and sleeping too.
I went home early to prepare myself
for an invitation to watch fireworks out at sea.
I was there on time but due to some
misunderstanding and calculation,
we were considered late.
But we still managed to get onto the boat.

The jetty.. very nice. i like going out to sea.

My friends. The boat is shaking, so
its very hard to take a good picture.

There are a lot of boats there. They are not big
but they are still very comfortable

A bad picture. It can't be helped because
it is really dark out there and my handphone
camera is not that good.

The lights coming from the city is beautiful.
That was my first time looking at singapore
from sea at night.

We talked and crapped a lot. It was a very
good experience. The breeze was never ending and strong too

The fire works had started and i took some pictures from it.
Unfortunately most of our gadgets are not that good,
thus, could not capture that moment beautifully.

I decided to use my video recorder in my handphone,
but it is worse, so i suggest people to
watch the fireworks first eye or get from Youtube.

Ready to go for the walk. They said the water is smelly.

This is the path which the runners will take for X-Country race.

Wooden plateform for us to walk comfortably.

The scenary there is really beautiful although my camera skill sucks..

A bridge...i like bridge. The soil on the left is very soft and we almost slipped.
Except for peisi...

We talked a lot and this is a nice place
to scream your heart out when you are really frustrated

There are fishes inside this picture, but i think
they camoflage very well.
Nothing interesting..

Nice scenary...again...
Really enjoyed the time spent talking and walking around there.
A bench for us to sit. There is a lack of monkeys,
maybe peisi frightened them?
Saw many sun skunks a long the way.

Very peaceful right? Must come here often.

There is a wide variety of terrains there.
Not just trees only. There is grassland.
And swarm? haha. The water is quite dirty..

Played with a teraphine there and
created a MTV out of it. It is really cute.

That time when i came here alone, my slippers
accidentally fell into the water...

A tree leaning at less than 45 degree.
It needs wooden pillars to support.

water water water

haha. Trying hard to walk on soft ground ya?

Time to head into the forest.
Didnt see much animals. : (

Reached the golf course. Dewei and Olivia
both took a golf ball each home.

We worried that the golf balls will hit our
heads and wee started to get thirsty too.

Nice scenary. There's one part that looks like
a scene found in many martial arts movie.

Some people actually spent their valentine's day there,
from what was written on the door.
Looks like a way to heaven
Some more wooden platform. Makes walking
comfortable.

More grass lands. Really nice.

Saw this giant Teraphine the size of an
A4 paper.. Really big.

We were all very exhausted and our
water supply was running low.
We managed to reach the top of the tower.
I realised that i am little afraid of height.!
A Tiring part...has to walk a lot.. We also saw
a small and beautiful snake. It has a lot of bright colours
which means it is very venomous.
We kept complaining because we
still could not find the exit.

Somemore stairs to climb and we were really exhausted

Finally made it through. We were standing on a
bridge and took a short rest there.

Our saviour!! The water cooler and the toilets!
YEAH!!!

On our way home! Very relieved!
