I don't care if this is boring or what.. i just feel like writing my adventure when i went out for shooting..(photos)
I thought of a theme which is "peace" and my lecturer agreed to it. YESH!!!
1st day.
nothing nice to talk about. I just wondered around the parks near my house.
2nd. Day.
Straight after all my lessons, i went to Macrichite reservoir alone. Wanted to ask other people along but then their themes are either different from me or no time to go. However, coincidentally, Wenhao was riding his bicycle around Bukit Timah there, so we decided to meet up.
Reached Macrichite in less than 40mins from my school! COOL! Walked around and saw 3 really big monitor lizards which were not afraid of humans. Walked past Lim Bo Seng grave and down the stairs.
I followed the wooden tracks along the reservoir. I find it quite relaxing there and decided to take some shots. As i was walking, i was surprised by a really big monitor lizard. It swam fast and crawled across my path. Biting a teraphine by the shell!! OMG. In front of me. Took 3 shots for that!
Continued walking and WenHao found his way to me. We walked around taking pictures. The scenary there is very very nice and calm. Thats why i choose there to take pictures for my theme "Peace"
We went to Chinese cemetary trying to take pictures. I just want to take the pictures of the empty roads but there are tomb stones everywhere. We didnt walk deeper because there was a group of ferocious dog and i was too tired to fight with them.
I really enjoyed the part where i walked along the trail alone. Very exciting!!
3rd Day.
My lecturer asked me to go to Pierce Reservoir.
I didnt know how to get there so i made a lot of unnecessary bus change.
Reached there at 6pm+. WTH..
I followed the road...Walked and walked for about 30mins. I thought to myself, what the hell is this road leading to.. Its so far and by the time i finish walking, its already at night.
Luckily!!! I met some people inside a van feeding monkeys. I asked them how far is it from there to reservoir, they told me a shocking 3 - 4 km. OMG! Then they find me pitiful and decided to give me a lift to there. Thanks!! Luckily i asked them.
Reached there. Just as my lecturer said, the place is indeed very very peaceful and quiet. Walked around taking pictures and saw this couple taking marriage photo there. HAHA! So lucky! The camera man geo them to pose and i asked them for permission to take their photos. Haha, not bad. The sky is getting darker and i feared that i might have to walk through the 4km road to the main road at night with forest by the road. Its damn frightening because i was not prepared for any dangerous scenerio.
Too bad, I could not see anyone there and i decided to walk to the main road. Quite scary to be honest. I was all alone and everywhere is dark. Saw many cars driving past me. OH MAN! I wanted to test myself how courageous i am to walk. But when i thought that i still have many unfinish assignments at home, i DECIDED TO TRY USING THE SURVIVOR HAND SIGN.
Try making a tumbs up sign and tilt your fistand point the direction of the road with your tumb.
Finally a car stopped infront of me and gave me a ride!! This hand sign is very useful but don't abuse it!! I used that sign twice now. The first time was in Bukit Timah with Nigel, Kenneth, melvin. Woo!!
Those were the exciting experience i had!! Its so damn fun!! Sigh... too bad for the film processing, i have to stay inside that dark room for hours...
