Yeah...~ the 1st block is finally coming to an end. Finally i can relax abit... Finally i have the time to blog.. I want to summarize the past few weeks because i just feel like saying out.
The group work on our presentation on promoting goat milk is rather slack.... I pointed some mistakes and i'm afraid that i might offend them. So today is the actual presentation day.. I was very nervous. I always get nervous when i have to talk with a large group of people. The only thing that i think i contributed the most is the ideas of the goat milk...
As for my typography.. My lecturer told me that the shops in BrasBasa usually start at 8am +..and she allowed us to go there this morning...no need to attend her class until 11am. I went there with my friends and found out that the shop opens at 10.30am. this is super dumb.
One more thing... I realized that in many people's mind, design school is the easiest school. I head some people say that..." WAH! no need exam? so good!!" "wah... monday no nd go school...you damn free lor!" "aiya...design sch no nd work hard also can pass one" " art is a damn easy subject lor...the diploma is so easy to get." "project works good what...anyhow do also can get high marks" " des sch timetable is so flexible lor..."
ok... at first in sec sch, i usually laugh when people told me these. But ever since i started studying in design school, i realized that the reality is so different. Yes.. you guys can say, i don't mind.. i just treat it as a joke a laugh with u. But if you really think that des sch is like that, then i must correct you. PLEASE. Do not think that just because im in design sch, i have alot of free time.
No exam is good? Please be fair with me. Project work is equally hard. In exam i know that you must study hard...doing project does not mean i can slack. I must work for hours and hours...sometimes must stay awake for the many days. The lecturer don't care about you, they give you STUFF AND EXPECT YOU TO COMPLETE IT. Because if you don't you fail.
My class starts at 9am - 6pm. You think good? I reached home at 7pm. bathe and eat until 8pm..start doing assignments. And for goodness sake. This year block teaching means that the whole sem long of class is squessed into every day.. means... we go 0.5 - 2 days to do, compared to past years... 1 whole week. IF you seriously think that des sch is damn simple and relax, then YOU COME TO MY SCHOOL PLEASE. I don't expect my sch to be harder than other sch... i just want ppl to KNOW THAT MY SCH IS AS HARD AS ALL OF YOUR SCHOOLS.
Director of my sch told me personally this. " If you have been to hell, everywhere is heaven."
