Ok.. It's time for me to change from blogspot to
wordpress.
It's not that blogspot sucks or what, just that i prefer
wordpress because i like the many functions in it.
and i find that blogspot is giving me more problems than
i have foreseen.

just when i wanted to post the OCH photos.
this blogspot gave me problems.
Thats why you cannot see the photos up here.

I really like Applied Illustration !!!
Get to draw.
And the lecturer very kind and friendly
the looks also pleasant looking, smiling and nice pair of eyes.
Always look forward to class and consultation.
HArd to find such caring and patient lecturer nowadays.
Even if you've made mistakes in your illustration,
she won't criticise you, but just say it in a very pleasant and
simple way.
Oh.. and last Thursday..
The lesson started at 3pm..
I went there only to realise that she would be coming at 4pm.
Well.. thats ok i thought.
But i didn't know that i have to wait until 10.40pm+ for my turn
to consult.. yea...
Really, believe me.
When i came out of the classroom for toilet.
I suddenly felt that i was doing Basic Photography or camping in school.
Basic Photography was worse... work until have to take taxi home.
I was the 2nd last person to consult her.
and i spent A LOT OF TIME fooling around now and then, and
working on my layout.
Hahah. We didn't blame her because
look.. she was willing to spend so many hours... 6hours
to consult every single one of us.
and was willing to stay back till so late for the remaining no. of
us...
I was starving.
After accompanying my Dan and his GF half way home.. like a mobile
lightbulb right...
haha.
then after that my Dan and i went to have roti prata at kovan..which was like 12am+.. our dinner.
Ya.. thats about that..

Stories - The Fern and the Bamboo

There was once a man who got so sick of life, he quit his job, severed all relationship ties and headed into the woods for one last reflection.
There he saw a meditating wise man and told him why he was there.
"Can you give me one good reason not to quit?" the man asked.
The wise man responded to his question with another question, "Look around… Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"
"Yes", the man replied.
The wise man continued, "When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.
On the second year the fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.
On the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit. On the fourth year, yet again nothing came out from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit.
Then on the fifth year, a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was small and insignificant. But just six months later, the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the last four years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.
All this time that you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots. The growth of the bamboo was no magic. Yet it towers above the fern in the end. Don't compare yourself to others.
The bamboo has a different purpose from the fern. But together they both make the forest beautiful.
The wise man then looked pointedly at the man and said, "Your time will come. Take your roots and you shall rise high just like the bamboo."

I usually try to follow other's ideas
their plans, their activities, their beliefs.
Because i'm enthusiastic and wants to
make the atmosphere more lifely and happy.
As long as no need too much money or time
i will join in.
But if i'm the one suggesting the activities,
i can almost guaranteed that 95% of the people
will reject my ideas.
ya, you want go where, i accompany you.
I want go where, i go myself

Last Friday, Chun Yong, Wen Hao, Hanif and i went to OCH for
some adventure.. the details will be posted soon
because i still need to get the pictures from my friend.
AHA... Public Speaking was fun !
No work, just make friends and talk in front
of the class..
Everybody got the chance of introducing themselves
infront of the class. Feedbackas and encouragements
were written and given to every single one of us by the
rest of the class.
Encouragement.
What a nice word.
But hardly anyone uses it.
Encouragements can do wonder..
from making a person smile, more confident.
But think about it, when was the last time somebody
around you actually encourage you? praises you? like
"hey.. your hair style looks good on you."
"You are a humorous guy and its so fun having you around."
Some of you may say yes but i think that
most of you would probably say no.
If life is bad enough and that person did not hear a single
word of support, encouragement or care.
I don't think that person is going to enjoy his life.
Just a simple " hey. you look good today." is enough.
So.. try to be more kind towards your friends and family?
I think that quite a lot of my friends are having a bad times.
So i hope that they can survive through the ordeals and
become stronger and tougher adults.
